Power systems with two fan

i am wondering if a power system with 2 fans has to be put into a case with an opening on the top or if it can be put into a regular case, are they made for a case with a top opening or not??????

A blowhole is nice, but not absolutely required.

Place a fan in the front for intake, and one in the back for exhaust. You want a steady stream of air moving throught the case with the CPU inside the stream.

I think he's talking about a PSU, not case.
