It was to me, but i didnt get very far w/ it. Idk i havent really liked MSI that much so idk, just a biased opinion i guess. I will always favor DFI myself but i have heard quite a few bad things about the DFI NF3ultra.
 
Abit offers some nice AGP, socket 939 boards as well, but they run the VIA chipset. My KV8 Pro runs on the VIA chipset, and I haven't had problems with it yet. The only reason I would says NForce over VIA is that I think the NForce chipset it a little easier to update, because of Nvidia's easy website layout.

the msi is the best nF3 board you can get out there and it was only 84 dollars after mail in rebate
