Problem installing X700 vid card

Hold up, correct me if IÂ’m wrong, but you said that you have an A7V8X-LA and an Athlon 2800+ (I'm guessing its an Athlon XP). You also said that you have an X700.

Forgive me if IÂ’m stating the obvious, but that X700 should never work in your computer because as far as I know, the X700 was never an AGP card, only PCI-E. The A7V8X has an AGP slot in it, not PCI-E---hence the '8X' in the name, AGP 8X.

Nope, this one is an AGP. Big AGP symbol on the box.

Anyway, I did try the card in a Epox-P4 box to make sure it wasn't defective and it work fine.
