What about the old windows explorer. You could do it with the drag and drop to move then.

It still does the samething (just copies and not moves) when dragging to another drive. I am curious though and perhaps someone with two partitions can try it..but is it a limitation of a disk to disk drag or simply another drive in general I wonder?

Meaning if you had one physical hard drive say 100GB split into two partions with drive letters C: and D: I wonder if it would still only "copy" to the D: drive rather than move...or if it would move it because it is on the same disk..now Im confusing myself..lol.

No it still just copies the file. I have tried it with my Internal and External drives.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\Con

textMenuHandlers,
make a new key name it copy to

click default, right click, click modify, copy and paste the values
after the hot keys below below

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\Con

textMenuHandlers\Copy To.
put this is the value part

{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
