can anyone tell me how to setup an irc channel for my site...where to go and all that

go to www.undernet.org go to web chat or something like that make a name and then to create a channle do /join #(place name here) At the mech we made a channel /join #pcmech. Its free so no worries, just direct people to there and you'll have a channel up in no time without making your own
and the first 4 people in the channel are mods so you need to have one guy on 24/7 like a bot or something. and if all mod spaces are taken up a mod can mod a mod up

things really get interesting once fserves are setup in your channel ..for "legal" files only of course.
