D drive GONE!!!

I was burning an SVCD with Nero Burning ROM with my CD-R drive. Everything was normal and it burned the SVCD, but when i tried to play the movie it wouldnt play, so i thought i did something wrong. I opened My Computer so i could see what was wrong with my drive, when i opened my D drive it was MISSING!! AAHHH!!! thats the only drive i have!! but thats not the only thing bugging me, i saw an E drive in My Computer which is odd because i only have one drive, the D drive my CD-R, so im am miserably confused about all of this. Thank you in advance.

Wat OS are you running, if XP, try a roll back.

what you are saying is very confusing for me to follow. i think what is happening is he obviously has a C: drive for the operating system and his "only drive" is a cd-burner letter D.

maybe it simply got changed to letter E:? right click the mystery E: drive and select properties. tell us the volume label and what kinf of device windows detects it as (cd-rom, hard disk, ect)

Try reinstalling ur cd-rw from device manager. That might help.
