pci express or agp

Im upgrading one of my comps from a 9800 pro, should I buy something like a 6800gt agp, or should I buy a new motherboard for pci express. Is it much better then agp?

if you are going to upgrade in the future then get the pcix16 cause they stopped making agp cards, i should have went with a pcix16 mobo... anyways, if your not going to be upgrading then an agp mobo would be fine...

AGPs days are numbered, but AGP cards will work fine for any games out now... and maybe a little into the future. I'm going with PCIe upgrade in a month.

If you arent getting PCI-E, then get a 6800 GT. If you are going with PCI-E, then get at least a x700.

Whats yoor budget, people shouldn't recommend anything unless they know how much you can spend. Personnally if i had money id upgrade to PCIE just because its new technology.
