How do i install windows XP themes?

".desktop file"? Ok, now I see where your getting at. Your post took a turn in the wrong direction. The theme you want to apply was made specifically for Desktop-X or Object Desktop. Basically that theme is proprietary to those 2 applications. Your either going to need to purchase 1 or the other or see if they have a reduced free version you can use.

I don't think there is a single good free one

Style XP is good but comes with some spyware....

Windowblinds also good not as good as StyleXP no spyware.

You have to pay for both.
