Does AMD have a multithreading technology like Intel's Hyper-Threading? Are duel-core processors 32-bit or 64-bit? If you run a 32-bit OS on a 64-bit processor, does it perform the same as a 32-bit OS on a 32-bit processor? If AMD chips have twice the FSB as Intel chips, wouldn't they win hands down?

No AMD does not have any HT like technology. The Dual Core AMD's can be used in a 32-bit or 64-bit enviroment. I dont know if there is any speed differences between 32-64bit OS/software.

Now yes they do have a pretty fast FSB, but who has RAM that fast to take advantage of it? It is too bad that DDR2 is for intel only. But AMD does have an advantage of having the memory controller on the CPU itself.

Note: I see that you live in mass, since when does Albany TWC provide service to mass.

They lumped Berkshire County in with Albany. I live outside Pittsfield in central Berkshire County.

So AMD has no multithreading technology, right?
