i was wondering if you guys thought it was worth it to wait for x64 to be more compatible with everything before i got my new comp.

Wait, its a pain in the butt to find driver compatable with x64, theres only one game that i know of that actully supports X64 (farcry). And from what ive seen in a few benchmarks, if you play 32 bit games in the 64 bit OS it actually plays slower.

don't wait not worth it just get a 64 bit and use a 32 bit os untill longhorn or whatever they are calling it now comes out

Every Athlon 64 CPU has 64-bit support, including dual-cores..

This is why AMD is ontop of the game. I have not seen much 64bit intels and the ones that are out are expensive!

i got my 64 bit processor for only 190 dollars and its OCed to a EDIT: 377 actually :TIDE dollar processor, woot woot go me

just by an x64 system just windows xp 32bit edition. thats all, the only problem going to 64 bit now is hard to find drivers and not much campatbility yeat.
