not recognizing cdr

im using nero to burn some cds right now. ive got all mt music added but everytime i click burn it says put a cdr or cdrw in the drive. ive tried 4 or 5 different cds but it always says the same thing

did it work and then stop working? was it working before you installed nero?

Could be a variety of things I guess, check your:
Drivers up to date
CDRW disk speeds & CDR drive speeds
Does your CDRW drive work otherwise?

its always worked before. this is the 1st time ive tried on my new comp. drivers for a cdrom? the write speeds are the same and it reads all my games fine
