I'm going to build my new PC and I was wondering should I get a new processor as well?


ASUS P4P800 Deluxe
Thermal Take 420Watt powersupply
1GB of OCZ pc3200 CAS2 512 DDR400
ATI RADEON 9800 pro

Everyhting else looks great but my CPU, im thinking of what to do?

I had a long post all weritten up and hit the damn "back" button on my mouse (damn intellimouse optical explorers with the side buttons can piss me off sometimes).

Anyway, I recommend getting a new processor, but do not I repeat do NOT buy it from that site. For that price you could damn near afford a 3.0C from most places. Newegg carries the 3.0C for $280.

If I were you Id consider the 2.8C for $214. You can grab it here:

(and if youll make notice, the 2.6C that you linked to? it sells for $175 on newegg. Thats a $58 difference. Be careful where you shop man)
