Which Gaming Processor?

i think i'll just get a AMD Athlon 64 Venice 3800+, venice is a good gaming processor.

I would get the 3700 San Diego over the 3800 Venice. Twice the cache

I'm not a fan of buying a processor that i have to OC to make perform. Just buy a good processor, don't OC, and not worry about a nuke going off in your case.

You dont have to overclock it to peform, and the 3700+ is cheaper, and has the larger cache which helps.

OC'ing a processor, it's VERY HARD TO ACTUALLY DAMMAGE IT.

by "perform" I'm saying you shouldn't have to OC a brand new processor to get what you want out of it and take that .001% chance that something WILL FRY. ha
