I would get the 3700 San Diego over the 3800 Venice. Twice the cache ;)
 
I'm not a fan of buying a processor that i have to OC to make perform. Just buy a good processor, don't OC, and not worry about a nuke going off in your case.

by "perform" I'm saying you shouldn't have to OC a brand new processor to get what you want out of it and take that .001% chance that something WILL FRY. ha
