it all depends on if ur overclocking or not and it souns like u arent. soo just gt the cheepest stuff u can find corsair value is great. i would go with that.

Getting good RAM isnt just for overclocking. Its called reliability. If you get shit ram, more than likely you will have shit problems down the road. I had problems with Ultra ram, so I got rid of it and got some OCZ. I am not a OCZ fanboy but I have OCZ Ram in 75% of the systems that I have.

Well, I have to get cheap stuff because im not paying for it. I am taking a 3D animation class through my high school, and need to upgrade for it. Cept' I have to use Has Animation Master. Which is stupid.

I can't believe no one has answered this. No, you CANNOT get DDR2/240-pin RAM for your AMD system. You must get 184-pin DDR RAM.

If you are looking for value RAM, Corsair is a good one....
