2 GB's of ram

Im looking into getting 2 GBs of ram for my computer, and cant decide. I want high quality, but dont want to spend TOO much. Suggestions?

Corsair=Decent

Patriot is a good brand XLB or XBL i dont know which but there good OCing ram. Nubius uses it and he is a heavy OCer so Patriot is not shit Corsair is a good brand PQI is ok and Ultra well it is crap. OCZ is good.

Anyways. around 250 would be best. Is there a visible difference between 240 pin and 184? i though 184 had 2 splits in it, and 240 had 1

the reviews are good, its cheap, and its pc 4200. it says ddr2, is this a feature or do all mobos support this?

yes it is your mobo has to support dd2 its a different type.

If your not planing on OC'n then you really don't need to waste money on high-end ram. You could do very nicely with a good pair of value sticks.

Patriot XBL is quite good, it uses Samsung TCCD chips. Just ask Nubius. He uses them, and OCing is, well, his passion/hobby/life/any other thing i can think of
