first to get things out in the open, not overclocking, looking for a cool (as in temp) and relatively quiet comp all prices are as shipped (pricewatch). here are specs:

You might consider the 3700+ instead or if not, than don't get the 3500+, you won't really note a huge difference between the 3000+ which only costs $146. Other than that, looks good. Don't forget fans and arctic silver.

I'm wondering why people so often recommend the 3200+ when it's hardly faster than the 3000+ and costs and extra 40 bucks.

i think im going to change the ram to this:

240 pin compared to 184 and 40$ less.

as for PSU im debating btwn the 3700+ and the 3000+ if i should hold out, prob will get the 3700+ and just wait.

as far as arctic silver goes thats only a few bucks, and the fans come stock w/ the case.

Btw, prob will go zalman w/ the psu fan.
