huge overclock on athlon 2500!! read this

that 2.7GHz was with air too...Buuut like I said mine was a mobile where as yours is just the regular XP....if you want water cooling don't get a kit, build one yourself from dangerden....do a search, there's not only stickes, but people who've asked what to build that me and gaara have answered in detail before so theres plenty of info around here if you want to go water cooling.
2.8GHz would be limited by your CPU and of course heat...the CPU may not even want to go up that high unless you had phase change because it'll always hit a section where it won't want to go any higher under the current temps even with water....even when I got water cooling 2.7GHz was still the max I could go...it was like a 10C+ decrease in temps, but that still wasn't quite enough to make it go any miraculously higher.
Basically with good water cooling it shouldn't get above 45C even with like 1.9+ voltage through it which would of course give you room to go even higher with that CPU.
