I have an Exchange 2003 server running Windows 2003 Ent. Server. I have a scheduled NTBACKUP set to run overnight to backup the information store but for some reason the backup fails and gives a result code of 0x1f. When I check the event viewer i get EVENT ID 8017: ntbackup error.
But when I do a manual backup ie I go through the NTBACKUP wizard and set to run immediately, the backup goes through. For some reason the scheduled backup does not run. And ideas?
