Program errors while loading and has to be closed.

Hello, I'm new here.

Since doing some updates on Windows XP, a program called "Eureka Family Tree" or something similar (It's on a customers pc) will crash when I go to load it. It comes up with an error (which gives no information as to what went wrong) and aborts the operation before it loads.
I have deleted the program through the add/remove function and reinstalled it, but the exact same error still comes up when I try to run it. According to the customer it worked fine before the updates were installed.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this problem? (besides a format.. )

Are you sure this program is compatable with SP2? That could be the only thing i can think of without knowing any error reports as to the true cause of the error.

Try running it under "compatibility mode" or check the manufacturers website for more information. They may have a patch for it.
