How to be rid of this annoying Search bar

hiya

can someone help me out here

ive recently got this bar up the top of IE, and cant seem to be rid of it.
i can turn if off through view>toolbars, but once i open another page, its back again

i think it poped up when i put limewire on.

Probly Spyware. Try and scan for spyware with Adaware and Spybot. If not, look for a fix on the web. Just google the name of it if you cant remove it.

Well it was not limewire itself, but rather something you downloaded off of limewire. I am 100% sure that limewire is not bundled with any adware/spyware. I know Kazaa is bundled with it tho.

My guess is that you tried to download a program and it did not work, but when you executed it, the file went ahead and installed spyware.
 
Go to: internet explorer > tools> internet options > programs (tab) > click on manage add-ons.

Now look for something like a toolbar, or the name of the toolbar you have. Once you have found it, click on it, then choose disable at the bottom.
 
If you download MS spyware beta, it will find it and you can delete it. It is a spyware program! Just google Microsoft spyware and do the Genuine Check thingy. Good program from MS!
