Yep. It's way simpler than one may imagine. You'll learn a lot in the process. Especially if you decide to do some research on here, then put it together. As you piece it together you'll be saying stuff like, 'ooooo' or, 'ah, yeah, now I know!"

yeah like everyone else in here says, it is very easy to build a computer now-a-days. My motherboard on my other computer fried about 2 weeks ago so i'm about to get to rebuild it.

yeah, im goign to build my comp on thursday, and im 13, i just read a couple of forums and those how-to articles, just type building your own pc in google, and thers millions of articles on how to build your own, basically you screw nails into a case, connect the power connectors, and presto you have your own computer.

Or use monarchcomputers.com and they can build it for you. You customize it how you want it. And if you dont know what u want ask someone! We can put one together for you, no problem.

buuuuuut... if you understand all the jargon on monarch computer's custom builder thing... then you should be able to decipher a manual with a motherboard. Trust us, it's really not that hard, and when you trip over a problem, you have this forum of pure nerds to back you up.

Ryan

P.S. I have got to be the coolest non-nerd on here.

Some people can't put gas in their car.....they just want to plug the computer in and use e-mail. Just want to give DragonBreath all the options...just cause you can do it doesnt means the rest of the world can....or wants to!!

Yes there are certain details that my be VERY difficult to the computer illiterate or even someone who has a little experience.. atx, micro atx, what type of ram to get to fit your bus speed. Whether to get SATA or ATA. All that Frankly, I think all that jargon was come up with to confuse people and make it harder for the newbie so the ones who know the crap can make money off of the ones who dont.
