Ok i have no hardware knowledge whatsoever, I am trying to reinstall windows xp... (clean installation)
Ive done this before, and I follow the usual steps, boot from cd, and then follow on screen instructions...

But now, I boot from CD, and it starts windows xp setup, but before it can continue it comes up with the error of not being able to detect a hard drive... can anyone help me on this? This is a my new computer, so I've never installed windows on this one before... but does it have something to do with my hard drive? its got VIA RAID TOOL or something...

my HD is ST325082 3A SCSI

The only thing I did was partition it, it was 250 gigs when i got it, i made a separate 30 gig partition. thats all. (using partition magic)

You need to get the SCSI drivers on floppy, and press F6 when it is detecting hardware (blue screen.)
