Automating Windows Applications

Is there any way that I can automate windows to stop and start my Bit Torrent Client.

Reason being is that I like to use BT for downloading anime. But i seem to annoy some of the other computer users on the network when i am not home or when I am asleep.

have you tried the task scheduler?

beside task scheduler, if you need some specific commands issued. you can try using macros. There might be more reliable ways, I'd like to know myself if someones else knows. have you considered just using a bandwidth controller like DU super controler to cap your download and upload speed? if the internet connection slows down to a crawl it's most likely people are leeching files from you. limiting your upload speed usually fixes it http://www.homeqos.com/
