I'm going to remove a modem from a computer I just bought. Where can I store it while I'm not using it?

By the book, it should be kept in an anti-static bag (like the ones that new components are packed in), and in a box out of harms way

DONT wear socks when u pull it out... try to be touching the case at all times... AND grab the edges not the acutly card ...

Technically you're supposed to do all the anti static stuff. I think a box is fine.

I usually just save those Anti-Static bags when I buy new components. But I think you'll be fine if you just put in in a box, and dont put it near any other electronics.
