ram limit

ok my old stick of 512 ddr333 ram had "333"stamped on the modules.now my new stick of 512 ddr400 has "450" stamped on it.so does this mean it has some room to step it up a bit?it is samsung ram by the way.any tips are welcomed.

just because it has 450 stamped on it, does not mean it runs at 450mhz (or 225mhz) or capable of it.

Well, where did you buy the ram? And what did the description say?
