I think its finnaly time to get a new desktop. I boght my orginal comp. 5 years ago from best buy. It currently has 700 mhz 10 gb and 258 mgs of memory. As you can see its not very good towards todays standerd. I realized that when i tried to play unreal tornament on it about a year ago.....wasnt pretty. Evryone tells me that i should build my comp so that what i am ganan do. I am ganna get a job just to buy my parts and games of course. so i have a couple of questions to ask.

1) about how much money would i need for a good GAMING and animation comp? I use flash and 3d animation stuff.

2) what a good website to find computer parts?

3) What is a good game to buy to test out my soon to be gamming machine? I should tell you that i have a dsl connection.

I will have more questions later but this is good to start out with.

1) If you spent around $1000, you could build a really nice computer for your needs.

2) www.newegg.com seems to be everyone's favorite parts website.

3) A good game to put stress on the gaming performance is Doom 3. Doom 3 has some crazy good graphics.
