Build my own external DVD drive..

Im trying to save a few bucks by building my own external dvd drive. I'm pretty sure you can buy a relatively cheap case that has an IDE in > Firewire out port. But I can't find one, I checked Newegg, Tigerdirect, etc. Anyone know where to find one?

You plug the harddrive in (IDE) and you plug the enclosure in with USB / FIREWIRE
