Labtec Wireless Mouse

ok ive purchased a wireless keyboard and mouse for my old windows 98 computer, and its been working fine since boxing day up untill two days ago when now windows 98 refuses to get past the windows 98 screen i have determined that it it the mouse by unplugging the mouse and plugging in an old mouse but i have no idea why if it was working 3 days ago and aint now! its really annoying. Can anyone help??? plz

Well just check if we have anything near the computer that is effecting the operation of the wireless mouse and keyboard. It could be heavy speakers or something else that has a heavy magnetic field.

nah i dont think thats it ive switched off the tv, speakers, cordless phone etc. I dont understand it, it jsut refuses to boot with that mouse in.
