and some sexy speakers mouse and keyboard

is it gunna work or are there some better parts

I don't like the monitor much. 16ms is a bit high, and Acer is not a great company, you don't want any dead pixels. It doesn't have DVI input either.

The sound card is not needed either, as the DFI board has great onboard sound.

This GPU is cheaper and better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814122209

With the money you saved from those sugestions get a nice Samsung monitor, with 12ms or lower, a high contrast ratio and DVI input.

It is my opinion that the RAM you have choosen is a little weak for such a high-powered system. I would suggest spending a few more dollars and get the good $h!t.

It depends if he is overclocking his ram, if he isnt then he doesnt need anything special.

That monitor will not be good for games because of the 16ms, you want 8 or at least 12ms with a DVI input. I suggest the Hyundai L90D because it got great reviews. Its a more expensive than the other monitor at $330.

For your video card, go for the LeadTek like TriFid said, Its quality and has a very big Heatsink so you wont have to worry about cooling.

I heard that the Audigy ZS Gamer is bad but i don't know personally, you could get the Audigy 2 ZS OEM for only $70 though and the $50 could go towards your monitor.

Your Hard Drive, I dont know if Samsung is good so I cant really comment, i just know that western digital and seagate are the best.

Link to your case? Does the powersupply come with the case?

If you would have listed what the brand and the model of each of those components was and then posted a link, that would have ben much better. I'm just to lazy to click on all those links. Sorry :(

what do you mean? its a gig it SHOULD cover it right and i thought corsair was pretty good

If you are not planning on overclocking your RAM then the corsair value select is fine. There is no point in getting better RAM if you are not going to overclock becasue it wont make any difference. 1GB is fine.

Usually Power Supplies that come with cases are total crap, this doesnt meanit wont work, but the chance it will die is greater and you dont want that. To be on the safe side i would get a OCZ, Thermaltake or a Antec Power Supply.

Oh and whats your budget? just wondering

... Like, completely off topic, but where did you get your avatar from truebe?...

Just to add something constructive: For the 6800 GT go with manufacturers like BFG, EVGA, Leadtek, Asus, Gigabyte, XFX...

1600ish right now its pushin 1500 but im not opposed to going over if its worth it and overclockin isnt really a plan i like warrenties they make me feel safe like a blankie
