This is most insulting to have suggestions that are taught in PC Basics 101.

He asked a question, a simple one, and when we gave him a simple answer to a simple question he said we were insulting his intelligence! What the hell. You dont see something unreasonable about that?

In my opinion, it sounds like a slow memory leak of some kind. Although, not in software. Some kind of hardware equivalent to that. That, or, a failing hard drive, I don't know. I'm willing to bet that one or more of the RAM sticks is going south, that, or the hard drive itself is going south.

Either way, I'm willing to bet that if you ran a test on each (Memtest86 and a full physical disk check) you'd find your problem. And it wouldn't surprise me that the stress of being overclocked for so long eventually overstressed some of the components.

I built this PC im pretty sure i know how to defrag, set system bios, reformat, disk cleanup, monitor memory usage, CPU temps, ect.
