interesting...both antecs failed. Time to stop recommending that company out to people regarding power supplies I suppose.

Well those load's are also VERY stressful...

I think they need to test around 5 of each PSU

Haha! I ordered a Fortron 350 watt PSU and everyone was telling me that it sucks b/c it was only $30, but Toms hardware guide always rates fortron high, and looky there, fortron passed the test!

I agree, they do need to test more of the same PSU to get a acurate reading, as there could be bad eggs in the batch (is that the right one?)

I am a bit dissapointed in the OCZ.

How did they do the test? Just run a game of something for 24 hours?

They also need some generic ones that come with the case.

No, no gaming... read the whole article. It's several pages. It will explain everything.

Testing 5 of each would be a good thing. But, that would just take forever. The PSU's that fail, they contact the manufact. and give them test results and return the PSU to them so they may analyze it and see what might have gone wrong.

The test that they performing on these PSU's is very tough. It's just like anything. Some will survive, some will not.

By the way ( Quintox ) look at the efficiency of the fortron: 83.5%
that's incredibly good. :p
