Which is a better temp indicator?

Speedfan or Everest?

My CPU temp in Speedfan is 47C idle and in Everest 37C which sounds more right.

I got a P4 and I know it can run as high as 75C so I'm not worried or anything but 10 degrees difference is a lot!

Hmm, I dunno man, I tried the msi fan speed detector, and speedfan, and I got the same temps. Never tried everest myself.

I like Everest more too because it tells you more stuff but at least Speedfan allows you to configure your fans. But 10C difference? That's crazy man all the other temps are basically the same. Many people actually report different temps in Speedfan and Everest. Not really wondering which one is better but which one is more accurate. I guess I can always touch it with my hand.

Try it The_Mard if you want and see if there is any difference.
