I just ran PCmark2002 on my system and am baffled with the results. My system includes:
Barton 2500+
Asus deluxe mobo
512 infineon ram (2700)
1 WD hard drive and 1 maxtor (8mb cache both) 60gig & 120gig. The maxtor is SATA and the WD is IDE.
My results were as followed:
CPU- 5478
Memory- 4534
HDD- 738
What exacltly do the tests test?
My brother ran the same test on his PC and had a higher HDD score. Why is that? what does HDD test?

1, 60gig, WD 2mb cache
I scored 2000+ higher on the CPU and memory tests, but he scored 967, over my 738. I don't understand it?
I'm lost for words.
