well i got 2 mobos that support it and i tried them in both of them and they didnt work in either of them so i dunno but im going to try one more

Well it seems to me that if 'stuff' is happening but nothing is on the VDU it could be to do with grapics/VDU.

I mean, you must have taken it out to change the mobo it was on and then you were still not sure indicating that there is no visable damage e.g. burn marks.

be happy it could save you a lot of money

yea take to the computer store better to pay 20$ then 150$ for a new chip that isnt needed
