I just bought a new keyboard, don't know the brand or model right off hand, but in looking over the booklet it says that I need windows 98/me/2000 to use it. I'm going to be running off of xp once I get my computer up and running. Personally I don't see why I couldn't use is with any OS. The only thing that I could think of is if you want to use the Mulitmedia keys at the top then I would have to have 98/me/2000.

Could anybody shed any light on this?

Does it not work on XP? Theres no reason it shouldnt. Most likely the manual was written before the release of XP, but peripherals compatible with 98 are compatible with XP 99% of the time.

yeah most of the multimedia keys might not work (like on my MX duo) on XP, 98se, ME, 2000 are listed prolly cause there the only Universal Serial Bus supporting operating systems at the time of publishing

Ok thanks. I really didn't think it would matter except with the multimedia keys which I won't use so there's no need to research.
