Processor?

it can really only be done by a process of elimination by testing the hardware in different configurations i.e. stripping all other parts that are not required for the computer to boot. leave your mother board, cpu, graphics and cd-rom. test the cpu with another motherboard if possible. either that or if you can see visual damage (burn marks etc) you will know it is failed

yea i did the motherboard test...
it runs but nothing comes up...
so i think its safe to say my processor is damaged?

it comes on and it powers up when i have the graphics card in and all the other things it needs to boot nothing comes up its just on.

aight i did it and nothing happen it powered up but nothing came onto the monitor

For such an expensive part to replace, you really want to be sure. Either find a friend with a mobo that will support your processor, or run down to a local cpu store and see if they can test if for you. If you bring it in to a little mom & pap repair store, they'll probably do it for like $20 while you're there.
