ohhhh, well if u want to spend the money on two 7800GTXs then do it you'll score like 26000 on 3Dmark 03. But if your on a tighter budget just get the two 6800GTs.

i've heard the 7800GTX's run at lower temps then the 6 series but that's what i've heard i can't be sure .

Yea, the 7800GTXs will of course run better and cooler, but if your on a tight budget or from your dad then just get 2 6800GTs and OC them to ultra speeds and be done w/ it. Also get a DFI board man, youl be glad you did. BTW on those pwer connectrs can i plug a 24pin PSU into a 20pin mobo?

yeah what happened was i had money to get 2 gb of patriot ram 3700 and a 7800 but hes like why get it now when itll be half that by christmas (it wont) long story short im on his budget and what he says goes so ill get a 6800gt. The guestion was then should i get another gt or a 7800 gtx

Well since you would already have a 6800GT cause your dads clearly an ass then just get another and have 2 in SLI.
