My friend just got a new Compaq laptop with an AMD sempron 2800+ today. When she connected to the internet she began setting up her norton anti-virus stuff and while that was happening she downloaded Limewire. After downloading some songs i asked ot take a look at her comp and i found out that it was going VERY slow for a brand new computer. I opened task manager and Limewire was taking up most the memory so i ended the Limewire task but it was still going slow. Then i looked and saw that the System Idle Process is taking up 80-90% of the CPU. how do i get this computer running like new?
