Just curious of which (in theory) is faster: for arguments sake two seperate 80gb hard drives not running together ... one has 2 platters (40gb each) and the other has one platter (80gb).. they are using the same interface (but not connected to each other) lets say sata-150 and just pretend that all other specs are pretty much the same... which would be better? I really don't know??

thanks guys yeh i was sorta thinking like what you said there nitestick (makes perfect sense).. i knew there wouldnt be much dif but just wondering.. anywayz thanks again... Stuart
