there you go "OEM
Short for Original Equipment Manufacture, OEM is a company that produces fully manufactured computers adding hardware, software, documentation and other components making the computer a complete package. The company then sells the product under its own name and supports the computer to the best of its ability."

OEM is pretty much a product direct from the manufaturer. eg. my X-530's are OEM so they didn't come in a fancy retail package, just the speakers and the manual. my 3200+ is OEM, so it didn't come in the fancy retail package with the Heatsink and manual, it just came in a small plastic box with the chip in it.

well, i think most cd dvd/rw blah blah blah disk thingys come OEM if ur buying online....

i may be wrong though........

yeah yeah, like the WD Raptor 74GB HDD comes in OEM for about 100 dollars cheaper. Two of those would be about the price of one regular.

yeah but they are for l33t computers. :p

Used in computers that u dont need a lot of space, like....

Comps hosting game servs ect.
