Hard drive help

ok heres the story,

my dad had some stuff on his old HDD from our old computer (Win 95) and he wants me to put me to put the stuff from his old HD to our other computer (Win XP).

the thing is, i have no idea whats on the other HD except the stuff my dad wants to take to the computer. it might have Win 95 on it but im not sure.
if it were running Win 95 how would i run 2 HD's each containing a different OS.

if i do get it on my computer is there a way to get a program from one HD to another?

If you're saying you want to run 95 AND XP, don't. It's not worth it.

Just plug in the old harddrive into the new comp, and make sure you never boot off it.

no i dont want to run win 95, i just want to get a program off it.

how do i stop it from booting win 95?

Just put the 95 harddrive in as a slave and boot up windows. Should work perfectly fine.

It won't boot 95 unless you set that drive to boot in BIOS. Just pop it in, copy the files, and that's it.
