Outlook Express Problems...

The last three days my outlook express has been freezing on me. Also I can not sign up using my msn messenger. It begins to load the page but then nothing, just the stupid little timer deal. I have checked for viruses using my AVG and Panda and it shows clear. I went to pcpitstop and nothing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thought I might add that I have windows 98.

May be ur computer is simply slow due to a lot of applications running in the background
Get rid of the extra startup programs from msconfig
Also try check for spywares

I ran adaware and onthing comes up there either. I have not had problems up until this week and nothing new is running.
