Hi folks, hopefully someone out there can hep me with this:

We maintain a database here at work that is exported to a text-delimited file every month and sent to our production company.
They require the text to be identified with text qualifiers ("), which will exclude any numerical values. Our problem is that our ID numbers for this product begin with a "C" - C0001, C0002, etc.
Because of this, when I export the file, Access understands the ID numbers to be text and gives it the quotes as text qualifiers.

Well, the production company can't process the file with the ID numbers having text qualifiers so I have to remove them manually before I send the file to them. When the database had 150 entries.. that wasn't a big deal.. but it's approaching 500 entries now and it's taking serious time.

I couldn't figure out how to exclude the ID field from having text qualifiers when exporting the file... does anyone know a work-around I can use to avoid this??

Thanks.
