The crack disables the Genuine Advantage check from ever happening, thus allowing someone with a non Microsoft issued key to continue using the Windows Update website.

Tell a human being that they can't go some place or lock them out of something........a huge sound erupts....CRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the "nature of the beast".........pisses off the proprietary owners of the software but what they won't tell you in a public forum is that they like hackers.......alot of new program innovations and software improvements come out of responding to "hacking". It wouldn't surprise me at all if we didn't find out someday that the worlds best hackers are actually Microsoft employees!!!
