whats the highest anyone has gotten a 9800 pro overclocked to because im not having good results, only a few mhz faster core and memory, and is it true that newer games like half life 2 will not play well on overclocked systems

No, that is not true, why would that be true? Maybe it wont work on a poorly overclocked system, but one that is done right and is properly cooled, no reason why it wouldnt work.

go to www.xtremesystems.org, they have a records thread somewhere and it is broken up by components, and I think there is a 9800 one in there.
