So I'm thinking about buying into Cingular's Laptop Connect Unlimited plan so that I wont have to worry about finding hotspots or paying for wireless access when I'm not at home. What I'm wondering is.....

When I AM at home, will I be able to use my laptop connection as my primary connection and share it on my home network? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for any input here :)

Hey okcpcmedic

I haven't tried it but...
If you have another network connection on your laptap which you can set up as a bridge for the rest of your home network, then i don;t see any reason that such a thing won't work.

Network connection is Network connection, no matter if it's dailup, cable, DSL or Cellular...

Good Luck

Sounds great so far! The air-card is a PCMCIA card and the Laptop has a built-in NIC so it should work out fine then hmm?

Guess I need to check the data rates for the air card to see if I can live with it.
