Windows XP Pro and Printers

Two of our printers in the office is connected as local printers on two differant PC's. The printers are shared, so that other people can print to them. A normal setup.

About once a week I will start getting printer problems. People that printed the day before wont be able to print the following day. The error messag that I do get is something like this " To many connections to the PC".

I searched the Microsoft Site and could not get a solution to the problem.

Can you maybe help me please ?

How are the local printers connected?

The printers are connected via a network.

Go online and find the lastest drivers for the printers, and install them on the local machine the printers are running off of.

Then uninstall / reinstall the printers on all the nodes

A) how many computers are connecting to the printer?
B) If all else fails you could try a linksys print server device.
