Geforce fx 5200 or Radeon 9250

Yes i am limited with my pci slots. NO i am not upgrading. I just need to know which of the two will give me better results with san andreas. My integrated graphics run it suprisingly well at just below medium draw distance and low detail. Runs just about as good as the PS2. I just want alittle better graphics and want one of those cards. Thanks.

Neither one of them are great, but I think the Radeon 9250 is slightly better. Just don't be expecting to play Doom 3 on it....however San Andreas should work fine on lowest settings.

nvidia. Supports SM3.0, i think. Also, nvidia is usually faster.

No, the FX 5200 doesn't support SM3.0. That is the 6800 and 6600 series. The 6200 supports it but the card doesn't have the power to use it. If he is talking about a budget card like that, SM3.0 is far from his concern.

However, the 6200 isn't bad for a budget card, if you wouldn't mind looking into it.
