ATI and nVidia just don't get along at all.

well, for me that didn't work, i cleaned out everything i could possibly think of, until there was no trace of ATI, and still dind't work until i reformated... but again, that's just me:confused:
 
When i switched from my geforce 2 mx 400 to my radeon 9200 SE, i did a regular uninstall of drivers, popped out the nvidia card, booted the comp on integrated gfx, made sure there were no traces of Nvidia, and then installed the ATI card. No problems
 
Nvidia uninstalls pretty good, but ATI is like buble gum on your shoe... it just sticks and won't let go.
