Well i have a pc upstairs and a pc downstairs. The pc upstairs is connected to the net throught a wireless/wired router. For the pc downstairs i bought a lynksys usb wireless router reciever. Hooked up the usb reciever downstairs, instaled the drivers and i cant get it to conect to the router upstairs i tried to set up a network but i have no floppy drive on one of the pc's so its not working to well any help? thanks. sorry all for the confusion i was in a hurry

Well.. If you haven't set up a WLAN yet.. theres no way in the world the PC's can connect... You cant expect them to auto-sense just by installing the drivers...

More to the point;
Both PC's should have the same Subnet, Default gateway addresses. etc. etc. which can be configured by right clicking the WLAN connection and going in the properties--> TCP/IP

Without inflicting a whole essay... see the following two links to get a better idea;
